Trick or Treat

Hayden's first door
He was funny, he was more interested in the pumpkins then getting candy
No one answered the door
On to the next house
He loved knocking on all the doors.....
If no one answered right away he was off exploring the porch
Knocking again
It was so fun to take Hayden trick or treating this year, I dont know who had more fun him or TJ, my-self, Aunt Britni, or Katy. The first couple doors we went to no one was there, as TJ said, "Hayden was batting a thousand." It was a good thing before we left I filled his little pumpkin with a bucnh of our halloween candy. We did manage to hit a few houses, and found people that were actually home. Hayden loved to knock on all the doors and after that he would start walking away exploring there pourch looking at all the fun things that were on the pourches. When house the woman opened the door and tried to give him a piece of candy but Hayden is all about being independent and was trying to take it form her, and then he just decides to left himslef in to there house. Cant wait for next!

The horse is here

We got Duke in Provo Utah from a friend when he was 2 mo old. look how cute he was, I couldn't turn him down. TJ always wanted a dog and so I called him, later that night he came over to see if he was worth it, and as you can see he was. We lived in an apt. at the time and the owner would not let us keep him inside, now what were we to do? Well, TJ worked for Carter construction where they said we could build him a place to live there and kinda be a guard dog! SO for the first year of his life he lived at the shop.
We would take walks down by the river, Duke did not like the water at first but he eventually learned to love it!
He was so fun to have around and go on walks and play with. The time came when I finished school, we moved back to Rexburg, bought a house with no fence, and Duke had been living in Rupert for a couple years. While he was there his baby brother Hayden was born!
Now that Hayden has grown up to be a big boy, Duke has become his horse. Although, hes not always so sure of the large "Puppy"
He LOVES when TJ will Play with him

He likes the go to the river while TJ and his Dad try to fish, but really he likes to scare the fish away.
He is such a beautiful Pup
It is nice to have him back with us now that we have a fenced yard!
Hayden is still warming up to him, but all in all he loves having his PUPPY.
Now he just needs a "BUDDY"

No Shame!

My little boy is not so little any more. We took him to the doctors today and he was a whopping 27 lbs 11oz and 30 1/2 inch tall. So i have got a shot stout little boy, whom I love to pieces! All day long I am constantly laughing with the silly things he does. The other day his aunt came over and as she was walking out the door to leave Hayden runs over to the door and yells bye stinky...I couldn't help but laugh! He learned that one from his Dad i might add. And just tonight he got into some trouble so I spanked his little bum, knowing he was in trouble, and he just laughed at me. He's going to be a piece of work one he gets a little older, that's for sure. He has a mind of his own, always getting into something and causing trouble wherever he goes.

Look at that cute little face.......just wait for it he has a little surprise for us all

He shows no shame.....all boy for ya! But if I had a cute little bum like he does I would show it off to. At night we let him run around in his diaper for a bit and he has discovered how to pull his diaper off, i guess its more comfortable that way.

Trip to Utah

TJ and I decided to take a little trip to Utah over Labor day weekend. Our friends Brekke and AJ called us earlier that week and told us they were going to bless there baby boy Crue. At the beginning of the week Hayden got a little cold, along with starting to teeth, so it wasn't looking like we were going to be able to go. A couple nights of not sleeping for TJ and myself we were not about to go on vacation with a cranky kid. As we got closer to Friday things were looking up for us, Hayden was feeling better. So, we decided to go and i am so glad that we did! We got to see Brekke, AJ, and Little baby Crue who is adorable! Sunday night we also went over to TJ's Aunt and Uncles house is Orem. When we lived in Provo we would go over there quit a bit, so it was nice to see them and visit with them! It was a very fun trip for our little family!

Thanks Grandma Anderson

We got a rocking chair thanks to TJ's Mom. It is so nice and Hayden already loves it, as do I! Thanks Grandma!

Our New Fence

Hayden digging the holes for the posts
Dad helping him get the last little bit of dirt out of the hole
Mixing the concrete
Taking a ride on the postMom supervising with HaydenDad having to make a few adjustments to the vinyle
Brandon laboring away
Working hard or hardly working
Some of the boys that helped with the fence
Tj and I wanted to put up a fence when we first bought the house so we could have our dog Duke and so Hayden could roam free by him srlf, but there was never anytime. So, during his seven week break off of school we thought it would be a perfect time. We had lots of help and could'nt have done it without the help of TJ's Dad, his brother Court, Brandon, and Tyler. Thanks Everyone

Hoops

This last week was a hard week, Hayden got a little cold and on top of that he was teething. I felt so bad for the kid that I went out and bought him a toy hoping that it would make him feel better. He had a little hoop that he has out grown so I decided to go bigger. This one is a little big for him but he still likes to play with it. even though the ball might not be going through the hoop, he likes to crawl through it himself! Its pretty darn cute to watch!
